Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
As a Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Be involved in the financial management of clients
- Managing various ERM Assignments, Internal Audit Assignments, ADAA Framework, Drafting of SOP’s, etc., Contribute to the development of your own and team s technical acumen
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Working closely with external clients to collaborate and finalize the engagement
- Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.
Qualifications:
- Ideally a CA/ CPA or ACCA qualified with 3-4 years of Internal Audit / Compliance experience in any International Accounting firm (preferably 1 year in Big 4 or Big 7)
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- A strong track record in Audit excellence and technically sound in the latest accounting & Auditing standards
- Industry Specialization – Oil and Gas Sector, AD Government Departments and Ministries preferred.
- Firm understanding of ADAA Framework for AD Government related clients is preferable
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- The candidates must possesses proficiency in English and advantage shall be given to the candidate having proficiency in at least one or two more languages e.g. Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, etc.
