He has around 18 years of experience in a range of areas including, Foreign Investment, Foreign Exchange Control Regulation, Corporate Laws Auditing& Accounting. Prior to start of practicing of profession in 2002, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Corporate office of one of the largest Japanese Trading House located at New Delhi and headed their Finance, accounting, Credit, Tax and Legal Department. He also served as “General Secretary” for 3 years at the Japanese Chambers of Commerce and Industries, New Delhi India. He has worked and advised large number of global corporate for their joint ventures and has been working with several Global Corporate Houses including many fortune 500 companies. He has vast experience working for large number of Japanese companies operating at different industries in or having their set ups / presence in India. He is actively involved in advising corporate on inbound investment, cross border transactions, tax and regulatory matters relating to direct, indirect, and transactional law. In his role, he has advised many companies on issues ranging from entry and exit strategy formulation, transaction structuring, business reorganizations, as well as insolvency related issues. He also has enriched experience and expertise in carrying several representation services before several Indians statutory bodies, Agencies and Indian Ministries. He has been actively involved in obtaining various statutory approvals, licenses from several agencies in India and abroad. He has been an eminent speaker and has addressed several seminars in U.A.E., India, Japan and Germany on diversified topics. He is bearing the responsibilities of undertaking the compliances under the Companies Act, 2013 and FEMA, 1999. He has depth understanding and experience of managing Capital/Commodity market operations, compliances, funds, planning & arrangement, Dispute Resolution, etc. Amit Sachdev COO, India Mr. Amit Sachdev is designated as an Executive Director at Mayur Batra Group headquartered in New Delhi and having offices at prominent Indian Metropolitan Cities and overseas presence in Japan & Dubai. Mr. Sachdev has around 20 years of post-qualification experience in a range of areas, including tax laws, accounting, foreign investment, foreign exchange control regulations and several corporate laws of India. Prior to starting of practice, he worked at the Corporate Office of one of the largest Japanese Trading House – Mitsui & Co., Limited located at New Delhi & handled a diversified portfolio. As a practicing professional, Mr. Sachdev has worked and advised large number of global corporates for their Indian Ventures and has been working with several Japanese Companies across a range of industries operating in or having their setups/presence in India. With experience in international tax, Mr. Sachdev is extensively involved in advising corporates on inbound investments, tax and regulatory matters relating to corporate and personal income tax. In his role, he has advised clients on issues ranging from entry and exit strategy formulation, transaction structuring, business reorganizations, as well as insolvency-related issues. Mr. Sachdev has also assisted several global companies in evaluating cross border transactions, end to end assistance in mergers and acquisition deals including structuring, tax, and regulatory implications. Mr. Sachdev received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Kirori Mal College, Delhi University in 1994 and completed his Chartered Accountancy Program in 1998. He holds title of Fellow Chartered Accountant enrolled with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.   Akiko Yamane Executive Director Akiko Yamane has been associated with Mayur Batra Group for a long time.
