An overview of “Assessment provisions under GST” as per Draft Law:

GST Council consensus on administrative control: As per the 9th Meeting of the GST council on 16th January 2017 a mutual understanding was developed between the state and centre on the administration of assesses in the POST

GST regime, likely to be implemented in the country from 1st July 2017.

The State Centre consensus on a horizontal split with regard to tax payers based on annual turnover agreed to be divided as follows:
