Sahni has undertaken important assignments in India and abroad as Vice Chairman-Income Tax Settlement Commission, Director General of Income Tax (Investigation), Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Joint Secretary (Foreign Tax Division), Member-Management Committee of Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators London (UK), besides holding Tax Policy and Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement with different countries. Mr. Sahni has also held a senior position in the Revenue Department of Government of India and Directorate of Enforcement (Foreign Exchange Regulations).

Mahmood Badri has been involved in driving the Emiratization initiative at MBG Corporate Services as well as advising Clients and Partners on the same.

He has 30 years+ of rich experience in finance and accounting across the government, semi-government and private sectors. Mahmood served in the UAE National Army for 17 years.

Mahmood has worked for 14 years at Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). At Federal Tax Authority (FTA), he became the first Head of the Tax returns and Payment Department in UAE history.

Mahmood has collaborated with multinational corporations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to develop and execute initiatives that promote social equity, diversity and inclusion, labor rights, community engagement, and stakeholder welfare. His background has equipped him with a deep understanding of the intersection between business, society, and the environment.

Mahmood has been awarded by the UAE government many times for his initiatives and contribution.
