Unified Customs Declaration Form – GCC Print – Go-Live – Announcement

On 9 October 2024, Dubai Customs published Customs Notice No. 05/2024 (Notice), implementing the updated customs declaration form (Form). Dubai Customs has implemented a new template for the unified GCC Print of Customs Declaration in the Mirsal system, effective September 29, 2024. This template aligns with the GCC Customs Union's standardized format. The Form will replace the forms currently in use, while customs service fees will remain the same. Key updates include:

• QR Code Integration: It enables scanning the updated declaration information. The integration of a QR code allows users to easily scan and verify the latest declaration information, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of the data.
• Separate Antidumping Charge: Antidumping duty will be listed separately on new form from customs duties and other charges when applicable.
• GCC AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Details: Declaration will Includes fields for the GCC AEO Company Name and Logo. It will promote smoother customs procedures and potentially faster processing for AEO companies.
• Itemized Details: Net weight and quantity will be display at each HS Code line item level.
• Agency Information: Shows controlling authority at the HS Code line item level, where applicable.
• Removed Copy Type: In new form, Dubai custom has removed Copy types and distribution texts from the template.
