Corporate Tax Registration
As per Article 51 of the Corporate Tax Decree Law, every Taxable Person shall register for Corporate Tax in the form and manner and within the prescribed timelines with the Federal Tax Authority (‘FTA’) and obtain a Tax Registration Number, except in circumstances prescribed by the Minister.
The registration shall be made through FTA’s digital services platform named Emara Tax. For the time being, the registration is being done strictly on an invitation basis where the FTA is inviting a few selective businesses to obtain corporate tax registration and it is expected that in the distant future, it will be opened for all businesses.
