Extension of Due Date for Filing of Return of Income for Assessment Year (AY) 2022-23 for Certain Category of Assessee
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued Circular No. 20/2022 dated 26 October 2022 which provides that, the due date for filing of return of income has been extended from 31st October 2022 to 7th November 2022, for those types of Assessee’s who were required to get their accounts audited and date of submission of the audit report was extended from 30th September 2022 to 7th October 2022.
