De-flagging of disqualification of DIN and Relaxation on levy of additional fees in filing of e-forms
- De-flagging of disqualification of DIN:-
Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) has issued a ‘Public Notice’ mentioning that DIN of all directors which were flagged as inactive due to disqualification under Section 164(2) of the Companies Act, 2013 for a period of 5 (five) years would be eligible to be de-flagged on expiry or completion of disqualification period.
MCA is in process of de-flagging of all eligible DIN and it would be completed in due course.
Earlier, MCA has disqualified lakhs of Directors on 01st November 2016 for a period of 5 (five) years due to non-compliance of Section 164(2) by such directors and the DINs of Directors found to be disqualified under subsection 2(a) of section 164 of the Companies Act, 2013 were flagged with effect from 1st November 2016 for a period of 5 (five) years.

- Relaxation on levy of additional fees in the filing of e-forms AOC-4, AOC-4 (CFS), AOC-4, AOC-4 XBRL, AOC-4 Non-XBRL, and MGT-7/MGT-7A for the financial year ended on 31.03.2021 under the Companies Act, 2013
Upon receipt of several references and representations from the stakeholders, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (“MCA”) had issued a ‘General Circular’ for relaxation on levy of additional fees in the filing of e-forms AOC-4, AOC-4 CFS, AOC-4 XBRL, AOC-4 Non-XBRL and MGT-7/7A for the Financial Year ended on 31st March 2021, up to 31st December 2021.
Accordingly, the aforementioned forms due for the Financial Year 2020-21 can be filed by the Companies up to 31 December 2021 without payment of any additional fees.
