Haryana reservation for locals – 75% quota law from Jan 15
The Governor of Haryana had given his assent on The Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Bill, 2020 on 02nd March, 2021 (here in after referred to as the “Act”), the Act came into force on 15th day of January, 2022 which provided 75% reservation in the private sector to job seekers from the State of Haryana. The Act applies to every Company, Society, Trust, Partnership Firm, LLP or any Individual employing 10 (ten) or more personnel. The Governor of Haryana has notified an amount of INR 30,000/- (INR Thirty Thousand Only) as gross monthly salary or wages for the purpose of registration under the Act (hereinafter referred to as the “Notification”).
The Act came into force on 15th day of January, 2022.
