Extension of the deadline for submitting the Annual Report under the POSH Act in Gurugram

The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Officer of Gurugram has issued a crucial reminder vide Notification No. 2457 dated 04.11.2024, for all organizations, both government and non-government, operating in the district regarding the submission of annual report.

Previously, the due date for filing annual report with the district officer was January 31^st for the previous calendar year.

As per the notification, organizations are now required to submit their annual reports by February 28th for the previous calendar year.

Further, any organization that fails to submit the POSH annual report by the February 28^th will face a penalty of INR 50,000. In case of repeated non-compliance, strict action will be initiated against the organization under the provisions of POSH Act, 2013

In this regard, District Officer has also published a comprehensive POSH compliance checklist. This checklist outlines the required information to be included in the annual report.
